    Description

Offered for sale is this ORIGINAL Congressional Senate Bill no. S.295. from May 9, 1856 to "amend the several acts now in force in relation to the Patent Office". This Bill has 19 pages......a far cry from today..........and is very pliable and readable. It measures about 12" by 8 1/2" and has been folded. It is a string bound document and has all of its proper identifying marks on it. This was presented in the 1st session of the 34th Congress. The paper has light yellowing and foxing from age as to be expected. The worst of the condition issues is the one area of insect or animal damage as can be seen in the photos.
