Here's a beautiful, working AC-powered three-speed table fan manufactured by Westinghouse during the second decade of the last century.
Fan is 20” high, with a 16” blade span. Condition is excellent, as you can see in the photographs. Japanned finish is original throughout, with minor wear consistent with age and authenticity. Original lacquered brass blades and wire frame cage are straight and spotless. Faces of all four blades have polished and buffed out to golden hue. Cord is an authentically styled replacement, and it's in excellent shape. Original bottom plate is still intact and in excellent condition. Speed lever moves back and forth easily.
The fan runs well and puts out a
lot
of air.
With its ornate brass cage and gleaming brass blades, this early, perfectly proportioned Westinghouse fan is an easy one to fall in love with. It's exquisitely designed, it works great, and it's exceptionally clean.
Please note: the fan will be partially disassembled for safe shipping (the cage and blade will be removed and packed separately from the motor), but it will take only a few minutes to put everything back together.
Shipping weight, properly packed, will be approximately 35 lb.
That's about it. I will package it carefully and properly, and I can assure you that it will show up at your doorstep in the same fine condition in which it leaves mine. I have been shipping antique phonographs and radios for years, and if you check my feedback, you'll see that I know how to do it correctly. Overseas customers may remit payment with Paypal only. Auction participants with no prior ebay history, or with private feedback, should contact me before placing a bid.
