    ANTIQUE MOTHER CAT AND KITTENS PRINT
    Art by Morgan Dennis
    A beautiful, vintage print on creamy off-white paper.
    Lovely vintage print which was carefully removed from a 1946 book.
    The page measures approximately 8.5" by 11"  (field is 6" by 7") and is in very good condition.
    There is a small tear on the bottom edge of the page which I will repair with archival mending tissue.
    You are purchasing the original plate, not a copy.  The reverse side has a print of a dog.
    Morgan Dennis
    was an American illustrator and author known primarily for his paintings of dogs.
    He began his career as an author/illustrator with a special aptitude for portraying dogs.
    Perhaps his biggest success was his creation for Dewar’s of the "Black and White Scotties"
    commissioned and used as advertising by the Black and White Scotch Whiskey Company.
