    Description

    This is a nice set of late-1800s or early-1900s pottery art tiles that are stamped "
    A.E.T. Co. LTD.
    " for American Encaustic Tile Co. Each tile measures 6" x 6" and about 7/16" thick. They are a matching set; they fit together to form a wreath of flowers with a bow hanging. Two are in very nice condition with only one tiny edge chip. The third (bottom tile) has a few more noticeable chips but nothing too serious. The glaze has crackled throughout and has a nice iridescent look from age. These are awesome tiles that can be used just about anywhere. They make great kitchen wall decorations, trivets, or garden decorations.
