Description
Listed is a 12-inch antique vintage fan blade. Unknown brand of blade. However, we did additional research and believe this blade is for a 1920's Westinghouse 315734A fan. Made of Micarta, not metal. The material method of making is an insoluble product of phenol and formaldehyde. It was invented by Leo H Baekeland of Younkers, New York. Application for patient was filed July 13, 1907 and Patented Dec 7, 1909. We believe the patent number is 942699 Very interesting information.
The measurement of the center shaft hole to be 3/16" and set screw is there. This is considered pre-owned, so there is no noticeable damage with the exception of age, dirt and weathering.
