Description
Vintage Century Brass Blade Electric Fan.The fan runs very well on all three speeds but the oscillator is broken so it does not work.
The makers tag on top of the motor reads in part "CENTURY ALTERNATING CURRENT FAN MANUFACTURED IN USA BY CENTURY ELECTRIC CO ST LOUIS MO FRAME S2-10inch - MODEL 56 VOLTS 110 CYCLES 60 NUMBER A.7-M2. The fan measures app. 21" in overall height to the top of the cage, the cage itself measures app. 17" in diameter, the blades are right at 16" in diameter. The fan is also marked "CENTURY" on the tag on the front of the cage. The blades of the fan are brass while the cage is steel. The painted finish also has some wear and scattered losses most notably to the sides of the motor housing. The top bracket the holds the cage to the frame is missing. I have attached a small piece of wire to keep it in place. Please look at picture closely and ask if you have further questions.
