Antique Menominee Staghorn 8 inch Electric Fan

This is the sought-after 1912 era oscillating Menominee Staghorn that is appreciated so much by collectors. It is a combination of high quality construction, beautiful industrial-era design, and great performance. It runs strong and oscillates well on 110 vAC and runs even faster on  DC supply. It is quite a beauty and a little power house. .In my opinion this is the finest of the 8 inch collectibles.

This fan was found in original running condition and was was completely refurbished 5 years ago.. Since then it is little used  but  has made a great display piece in our living room.
The fan was completely  disassembled, cleaned and relubricated where needed.. The casing was painted in polished black lacquer.  The fan blades were buffed and polished and protected with a wax coating.. A new period electrical power chord and plug was used. Steel screws were painted brass for cosmetic effect. .The speed changer works well with three distinct speeds.
