Emerson DC 19046 Rare 12" antique Fan

A very rare Emerson 19046  DC desk fan motor
a rare opportunity to own one
this fan motor is real nice...there are discussions on the fan site forum around 2007 about this exact fan...i think the tag is amazing because ive not seen another emerson DC with an A stamped before the serial number....but she does not run... the armature needs to go to the armature shop...this motors original armature was replaced with a later model armature from a 12" emerson DC fan....which is fine but this armature fails the commutator test..which is why she doesnt run...so the armature needs to go to the shop....    typically a armature rebuild is around 0   consult with your fan friends they will tell you who to send it to. its missing its oiler...i think this motor only has an oiler in the front but you should confirm that.
switch and windings are nice and in excellent condition...its clean and it has a super nice paint job from a restoration years ago using high end auto paint products but there are slight scratches and chips over the years...its such a rare and wonderful fan i know you guys will be thrilled to own it.  Look at the pictures and Do your research on the fan, other than the guard,blade and oiler i believe its all there....what is in the pics is what you get
