Emerson Electric Type 2250C 10" Oscillator Fan Tested

Here is a piece of working early Americana. Hailing from the first half of the century is this Emerson Electric 10" Oscillating Fan. Made in St. Louis, these early fans were quite durable, quiet, and moved lots of air.
This fan does show signs of use and could use a restore and repaint. It works and is quiet. The cage has some bends in the top that need to be straightened. The blades should be checked for straightness also to prevent any vibration. Bearings seem fine and move freely. Fan does not struggle to run and oscillate.
Please check the photos. There is one photo I did not take--the fan does have a felt bottom, but after a repaint, I would renew that as well.
I am selling this as I do not have time for more projects. I want this to go to a good home, someone who can put the time in and fully restore it.
I like vintage fans but I want one that is ready to go, restored--but that is costly.

This is a vintage fan and is sold as-is. Like any vintage item, it should be looked over before use--and not left unattended turned off or on without proper restoration.
