HUNTER VINTAGE ELECTRIC FAN 16-INCH OSCILLATING 1950s ROBBINS & MYERS CG16 GOVT

Description

This post-1949 Robbins & Myers Hunter CG16 16-inch oscillating 3-speed electric fan stands approximately 22 inches in height. I believe it was manufactured especially for the US Government, with an industrial putty finish that blends in well with bland '50s office decor. The date code / serial number is marked as "Q", but I don't know the exact year it refers to. It is tested and working. Two blades look like they were slightly bent at some point, and one of them has a small ding on the outer edge. The fan shakes some, mostly noticeable at high speed, probably due to aforementioned blades. It shows moderate chipping and paint loss in the industrial putty finish. Fan was partially rewired at some point, but the black cloth cord is original. Cage and blade were removed, and exterior has been cleaned and degreased. Motor has not been cleaned or oiled, so you may want to address that before regular use. Click the following YouTube link to watch this fan in action:
