    Description

    INSERT PLATE FOR THE VINTAGE DELTA 24” SCROLL SAW OR 14" BAND SAW
    (SOLD BY THE PAIR)
    This is the insert plate that fits in the depression at the center of the table on a vintage Delta 24” scroll saw OR 14" band saw.
    The 2.50” diameter insert has been laser cut from .94” thick aluminum plate and has a .188” wide slot to accommodate all styles of scroll saw blades.
    The inserts shown in the picture are black oxide plated steel plates.  We just made the switch to aluminum material, so any inadvertant contact with the saw blade would be less damaging.
    Although each saw needs only one insert, these plates are sold by the pair…..one to use and one for a spare.
    Insert plates do get lost and do get nicked up from extended use.
    Shipping by the US Post Office is so expensive that it didn’t seem wise to sell these individually, since the cost of postage was almost equal to the product value.
    Shipping is free to anywhere in the lower 48 states.
    Other locations may have to pay additional shipping expense.
