    Original Australian World War I poster: "Haig: He kept his pledge - You buy Peace Bonds"

    This poster promoting the sale of Peace Bonds features a rather spectacular color portrait of Field Marshall Douglas Haig (1861-1928), British soldier and senior commander. The poster measures 20 x 30" and has light wear around the edges - just some small chips and tears. The poster has been stored folded. There is some discoloration and soiling on the reverse side as a result. Overall in very good condition. The colors remain vivid.
