Roland AX1 Ax-1 w/ R&R History Prog Rock band!

ROLAND AX1 portable keyboard/midi controller
, used but functions well/works.
Needs minor repair, but can be used as is.
Photos show the two areas you will want to know about:
1  A while back I had to tape the battery compartment up.   After years of use/gigs, it had wear and tear.  I only used the controller with batteries so I could walk around, (never plugged it in and used it as a home controller, etc., so I have no power cord for it, never did.  I had it repaired a couple of times over the 30 years I've had this, and the last time it needed repair I just taped it--figuring I'd only break it again through wear and tear anyway, so that's the story there.
2.  You can see in one of the pics (red arrow) that two of the white buttons are missing.   This was never an issue for me because it happened late in it's career, and I never used the 'write' function and I never needed to select any midi channels beyond 1-16  (Missing button allows you to select midi channels 17-32) etc.....
So these missing buttons were never a concern of mine.
The instrument performed perfect for me....I just wanted to trigger whatever sound I had in the
module at the time, and that was the only way I ever used this controller.
I've never tried all the buttons/functions because they were of no need for me....again, I just used this a single channel controller for live shows.
However, I know that when I hit the wrong button sometimes, ha ha, the patch WOULD change, so my guess is most of the buttons do what they are supposed to do.
But again, I'm selling the unit AS IS, so someone would wants one can go through it and have their repair guy fix it up a bit.
