SEARS BEST VINTAGE ELECTRIC FAN 13" CRADLE FLOOR MODEL 80530 AVOCADO GREEN 1973

Description

This "Sears Best" cradle fan has a 13-inch metal blade and a beautifully-designed plastic cage housing in a pleasant pale green. It has an elaborate donut-shaped circular base instead of the simpler curved steel tubing seen on most cradle fans. Marked as model 758-80530, it was manufactured for Sears & Roebuck by Vernco in 1973-1974, and features a powerful 2.5-amp General Electric motor. It has been completely dismantled and meticulously cleaned, is fully tested and works great. There is a small chip in one of the fins on the bottom of the front cage section, and one of the two tightening knobs is broken (the screw is intact and works, but you may need a screwdriver or pliers to adjust and fully tighten). The fan shows light wear and tear from normal use, blade has some chipped paint in spots (see photos). The original rubber feet were all gone, so they were replaced with new ones to prevent surface scratches / vibration. The fan sits approximately 20 inches in height.
