SMC VINTAGE CEILING FAN HEAVY CAST BRASS HUNTER ORIGINAL STYLE w CANE BLADES

Description

This early-1980s SMC / Shell 52-inch ceiling fan looks like their copycat version of the Hunter Original, with a heavyweight motor housing, classic styling, even a Hunter-style J-hook ceiling mount. Motor has a reversing chain switch and adjustable speed knob. It was tested and works, but does produce a light mechanical hissing sound when running. Fan was not tested hung and assembled, blades may require balancing prior to regular use. Motor housing has not been dismantled, so there may be some dust inside. Exterior shows some scuffs, scratches and blemishes in the brass finish. There was apparently a light kit installed, so some scratches can be seen on the bottom cover, and the center screw is missing (please see photos for condition details).
