    This Auction is for:
    Vintage Arvin 5100 Heater and fan Refurbished and working with minor issues
    This item has been totally disassembled cleaned, painted, oiled and then reassembled. It is painted as close as I could come to the original color with rattle spray paint cans.
    There are a few minor issues I want to share with the future owner.
    While it seems to work fine I would not run unattended.
    The front cover is very tight and I stopped short of forcing it together and left the bottom not fully engaged (see last picture).
    The fan alone does work but only when pushing slightly up on the chrome lever before engaging the heater and slower fan speed. I think they had problems with this type of switch (last picture) and changed it on later models.
    The cord could use some more TLC.
