    Description

Vintage Eskimo 8" Desk Fan, spiderweb cage design, tested, works! Free Shipping!
Here we have a charming Eskimo 8" desk or table fan. This fan is tested and works. It has one speed, does not oscillate, but is angle-adjustable via a wing nut. Fan blades are metal and the spiderweb-design cage is fairly open, so be warned and be careful, and keep children and pets away to prevent injury. It also seems to lack any sort of power switch, so be advised that if it's plugged in, it's running.
This would be charming on a vintage desk, or would make a great fan for a work table or bench, and would perhaps even be at home in a retro kitchen. This would seem to be made sometime after the 50s, and should fit in with any mid century or similar aesthetic.
This fan does have some rust/discoloration on some metal parts; please see photos. It also has a few whitish stains on the base, which I've also tried to capture in pictures. Someone has written or etched "709" on the back of one of the fan blades. This is a mystery, and could mean or be connected to anything. We may never know.
Shipping will be either Federal Express or USPS Priority Mail, whichever is more cost efficient.
