First off this is a dirty fan and could definitely be a fun restoration project, sadly I’m too busy or possibly too lazy to do such a thing. The best thing is she’s a working girl and not that kind of working girl. At first the fan was hesitant to start working but a little motor oil and a greasing of the gearbox and she’s been working for some time now.
Aside from the dirty appearance and tarnish/light rust the only thing that might be problematic is that the electric power cord is not original, also three of the little rubber feet are missing. Oh 💩 I almost forgot there’s a faint buzzing noise that hasn’t gotten worse in 15 minutes of use, I’ll be running this fan for hours after listing to assure proper functionality. I’ve completed a 24 hour testing and this is truly fine working fan, it blows quite hard and it oscillates as intended, there’s some motor noise but age considering I don’t think it’s a real issue.
These are somewhat rare so this is a good time to purchase a truly attractive fan, if not for yourself an absolutely excellent gift as nothing says I love you like an awesome Art Deco fan.
