Vtg Bersted Eskimo Fan Industrial Desk Wall Spiderweb Cage Art Deco MCM 1003R-60

Description

For your consideration is this Vintage Bersted Eskimo Electric Desk, Workshop Fan.
This is a Model 1003R-60 Measuring approximately 14" tall x 14” wide at its cage.  Cage has the Retro Cool Spiderweb Design on its Face.
Fan was Manufactured by the Bersted Manufacturing Company of Fostoria, Ohio and Oakville, Ontario Canada.
Fan Has an MCM, Art Deco Cast Iron Style Base. Fan Blade/Motor Housing is Tilt Adjustable. Bottom of the Base has a Screw Slot (Key) so that the Fan can be Hung on the wall if desired, just like they do in the Old Noir Era Movies.
Works beautifully as tested. Condition is still beautiful, with just some very minor nicks to the paint, chrome motor cover is still clean and shiny.
Power cord measures approximately 5 ½’ long and is non-polarized due to its age.  Power cord has stiffened up a bit, and developed a few small cracks in it due to its age. Still works, but the new owner may choose to replace it if desired. Fan is quite heavy due to its Cast Iron Body, they just don’t make them like these anymore.
Nice Vintage Retro Piece that will fit right in with any Art Deco, Art Nuevo, or MCM Décor.
