Up for sale is this Antique Rare Chelsea Ship's Bell Brass Mantle Clock & Thermometer.

This was owned by Al Polizzi the Boss of the Cleveland Crime Family.  This clock was inherited & consigned to us by his grandson.
Its inscribed Al Polizzi 1938 on the front of the clock.
This is a wind clock.  Does not come with a wind key.  We did have a wind key from another clock that we used to wind it and test it.  Its been running for almost a week and keeping time a little fast now that it has been a week later.  That can be adjusted however.  It has not chimed at all.  I can hear it on every half hour and hour winding up and striking but no chime.  I think it's not hitting/striking the bell ? Maybe it's a spring ? Will need to be looked at.
The door on the clock part is missing a screw on the hinge.  So when you open the door it does hang down because of the 1 missing screw.
The right side is Holosteric, Barometer, Fahrenheit, Thermometer.
The Thermometer appears to be keeping accurate temperature.  The Barometer as well appears to be working as its reading fair near very dry and that is the weather here in Florida has been at the current moment. There is a pointer hand on the outside from of the Thermometer that is bent.  Was able to bend it back and appears to be adjustable.
Also the ship's wheel thermometer side is very wiggly on the base not sure if it can be tightened or secured.
