The Swedes continued to develop their Mausers over the coming decades, remained neutral during WW1 and WW2, and supplied 77,000 Mausers to Finland during their Winter War with Russia in 1939-40. Swedish Mausers remain highly regarded among collectors, shooters, and hunters today for their historical significance, quality, and accuracy, leading Steve Kehaya and Joe Poyer to write an informative technical guide/reference book on the subject in 1999, revised into a third edition in 2011.
